11. Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Combine wet ingredients and set aside. Whip meringue to soft peaks. Combine wet and dry ingredients until uniform in color. Fold meringue into batter by thirds and pour into greased round cake pan with parchment in bottom.
22. Bake at 325° F until done (25-35 minutes). Cool in wire rack in pan for 10 minutes; remove from pan and continue to cool at room temperature.
